Empower Your Camp Counselors

Last summer we at Engage Kidz saw an increased need for resources for our

professionals offering camp experiences to children of all ages and abilities. With the

shortage of behavioral and mental health services happening on a regular basis, we have seen professionals floundering and feeling defeated.

We have developed some summer services that we think will help your counselors feel more confident and supported on a day-to-day ongoing basis.

We are offering workshops on basic behavioral techniques that can be beneficial for children of all ages and abilities. These workshops will encourage your counselors and staff to take a positive proactive outlook on these amazing summer experiences that you offer the children and equip them with some basic behavioral tools in their toolbox so that they feel successful.

Workshops are wonderful but don’t always give enough support. We are also offering

several different ongoing models throughout the summer including weekly consultation

to give on the spot interventions and techniques to proactively help situations before

they get out of control. These models can be customized based on your programs,

abilities of children, number of campers, and weeks involved.
